What should I wear?
The dress code is semi-formal. No t-shirts and jeans please.
Can I please bring a plus one?
Yes! When you RSVP, you’ll have a chance to list the name and any dietary restrictions of the guest you’d like to bring.
Where is the address for the venue?
Sutton Barn’s address is 6484 Sutton Rd, Whitmore Lake, MI 48189.
What is the venue like?
It is an old historic barn, with a upstairs indoor area with air conditioning, and a downstairs semi-exposed area.
Where is the ceremony and reception?
The ceremony will be totally outdoors with minimal to zero cover. The reception will be under a tent next to the barn.
Where do I park?
There is free parking next to Sutton Barn. It’s unfortunately unpaved, but the sidewalk leading to the tent is paved. Let us know if you have mobility needs and we can find a golf cart for you.
Will food and drinks be served at the reception?
Our beverage package covers some basic liquor, mixers and beer. There will also be an open bar too. Dinner will be buffet-style.
Can I bring children?
Yes, please bring your kiddos. We would love to have them. Unfortunately, we will not be providing babysitting services. Let us know if they need a high-chair.
What if I’m unable to attend?
You will be missed! Don’t forget to RSVP “no” if you are unable to attend so we can plan accordingly.
What will the weather be like?
It will likely be warm in the afternoon, and start getting chilly in the late evening.

What time is the ceremony? What time is the reception?
Pre-ceremony will start at 4:30pm. Cocktail hour will start at 5:30. Reception will start at 6:30pm.
